One of the things that I love about Te Whāriki, is the recognition of mokopuna as holistic, spiritual beings. It is hard to capture with words just how deeply a moment can make an impression on me, as a kaiako. We have the privilege of coming alongside mokopuna and as they allow us into their world views, my own wairua is uplifted. Juno is such an empowered learner, that my words don’t do her justice. However, her story is here and perhaps you may notice similar moments with your mokopuna?
