I wrote this learning story to celebrate the way these boys managed their play, and how a balanced mauri is growing their ability to learn. Mahi tahi is magical to witness for all that it enables. These boys spend hours in the sandpit, and being immersed in this type of play is allowing them to grow mahi tahi, which then allows space for new ways of thinking about the science of physics though the medium of sand, water, pipes….
